I edited my commission prices!

I decided to update some details on my commission information like lowering the prices and expanding different options on what you could request. I feel a lot more comfortable with these prices as these seem more reasonable for the work that’s being done. 

Simple designs (both traditional and digital) covers things like basic or default character designs that don’t require me to make up complicated outfits or designs. So characters like Sora from Kingdom Hearts or Boku no Hero Academia’s Deku in his canon hero outfit would fall under this category. This also includes original characters with casual clothing, such as hoodies and jeans, as I would not need to come up with anything elaborate. 

But if you are looking for something elaborate or would like a complicated outfit for a character, that would fall under Boutique Designs! This is for very detailed and complex designs that would require me to design something from scratch or at least look up multiple references to design something unique for the requested character(s). Think along the lines of Met Gala ball gowns, jewel encrusted suits, or designer street wear.

I’m also offering to do Animated Illustrations, where I can do do digital character designs but add some animated features to the work to make it really pop! I’m relatively new at this and couldn’t get it to animate in this slide but I have two examples on my blog that you can check out to see if this is something that you would like!

Happy Birthday, @lapzoli!!!!

I hope you had an awesome birthday today and you got to treat yourself to something nice or special or just had a relaxing day!! You’re such a sweet friend and I’m so glad to know you, it’s such a delight to be able to chat with you! I wanted to draw your super hero OC, Olive/Blue Jade, since she’s such a cutie!! This was meant to be her superhero outfit that would be based on an ice skating outfit but it didn’t look very hero-ish as I was designing so I like to think she had just finished up her routine and just got a call from her girlfriend to maybe suit up. Duty calls and what not.

Since the gif kinda ruined my colors a bit here, I also added just the still image for proper viewing.

Happy Father’s Day!

Just a teensy bit late but I managed to get this done in time! For some reason, I couldn’t figure out what to make for today but I’m glad that I ended up with at least something haha! Since it took me a while to make, I had only just sent this to my dad so I’m hoping he likes it! I hope you all had a great Father’s day, especially for the dads out there, or at least had a very relaxing Sunday!

I’ll be out of town!!

I’m about to head out to visit family for about a month so I’ll be very limited in my internet usage. With that in mind, I won’t be posting much, and on top of so many other life changes, I feel a bit bad for not posting anything this month. So have a little Fatin doodle that I mainly drew out of stress and in between packing multiple suitcases today.

If you try to message me, I’ll do what I can to get back to you but it will probably be a while until you get a response. Hope you all have a lovely month and stay safe out there!

Happy Mother’s Day!!!

I nearly forgot to post this since I had finished it in the afternoon and sent it to my mom, so I thought my day was done haha! I really enjoy drawing flowers and since I couldn’t send flowers to my mom’s place on time (except for Edible Arrangements, which I managed to get her), I thought it would be best to draw her some. I just kept it simple since I didn’t want to overdo it by having too many things going on but I thought it would be nice to add some sparkes and glitter as the flowers came into bloom.

Been a while since I uploaded some WIPs! I’m currently cleaning and packing up my apartment, so full illustrations will be a bit tough for a while.

I had recently finished chapter 5 in Twisted Wonderland (yes, I’m behind, I know) and I’m still very upset that the NRC boys never got proper dancing costumes. I know, realistically, they were probably trying to save money on models and not make whole new outfits for cards that won’t be released but it feels like such a disappointing choice overall. Having them dance in school uniforms to represent the whole school seems fine but Kalim’s model made him stand out too much and thus, would overshadow Vil as the lead. Plus, it would look very lazy on Night Raven’s College’s part to not get them new outfits and Vil doesn’t seem like he’d actually be fond of the school uniform cliche for a dance group. So I thought it would be fun to design some concept sketches for outfits they could have worn during the VDC event!

I only did the main vocalists and dancers this time around so it’s only Epel, Jamil, and Vil, and depending on how much energy I have in the next week, I’ll see if I can do the others. Everyone’s outfits are based on their ceremonial robes so their color palette is black, purple, and gold so that still represents NRC properly. Each outfit will have a short or cropped jacket and a black undershirt to reference the cloak. The main trio will also have sheer purple overskirts to mimic the silhouette of the cloak.

This is super late but I hope you had an amazing birthday!! It’s always a delight to talk with you about our shared fandoms and favorite characters. You’re such a talented artist and phenomenal friend, I’m so glad to know you! I know how much you adore Joey Wilson so I thought it would be neat to draw Joey for this year, especially paired with some roses, a friendly bird, and his scar exposed. I’m not a big DC comics reader but I loved learning about Joey and couldn’t help but grow fond of him as well, haha! It’s a very simple piece but I do hope it’s to your liking!

Again, I hope your birthday this year was a fun one and that this year treats you with nothing but kindness! I adore you so much and I’m wishing you nothing but the best! I assume a lot of my followers already follow edorazzi’s blog but I suggest also commissioning her since her work is so good!

Eid Mubarak!!!

Sorry this was so late! I thought I would be home earlier and get this on time but so many things have been happening this week, what with work, preparing for this weekend, and another project I’ve been working on that I hope to release soon. But I’m glad I managed to get this done at all even if it was tedious.

I wanted Fatin in a semi-traditional outfit but with a modern twist. Instead of a petticoat and skirt with a traditional sari look, I opted for a pair of dress pants that matched her studded top underneath the light, sheer shawl. Her arms looked a little bare, so I thought adding a pair of opera gloves would be fun, making the look a bit more dramatic. Creating the background was such a chore and made me regret doing this traditionally but I hope the effort was worth it. I didn’t want the colors to fall into a pattern so it’s a little random, but I   like how the colors look together.

Happy CLAMP Day!!!

I wanna say congrats to Sakura for getting a twin sister and welcome Akiho to the April 1st club. It’s a wild turn of events in recent Clear Card news: reality has been rewritten so Sakura and Akiho are twins and we’re finally getting a season two for Clear Card after like five years! It’s incredible, it’s a real CLAMP day miracle so I had to celebrate with an illustration of some ‘twins’. I’m so excited about what’s to come that I just had to illustrate Sakura and Akiho in cute outfits. I hope you all had a great CLAMP day, April Fool’s, or a pleasant Saturday.
